On May 3rd 2025, Mariel and Shervin tied the knot in a celebration that was equal parts timeless elegance and bold, moody drama—an unforgettable blend of styles that perfectly mirrored their dynamic love story.

Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Oak & Vine in Paso Robles, where classic and clean design set the tone. Lush white and green florals framed the couple against the natural beauty of the Central Coast, offering a refined, neutral backdrop that felt serene, intentional, and utterly timeless.

But as the sun set and guests entered the reception space, the vibe took a bold and captivating turn. Dramatic drapery and rich red accents transformed the venue into an edgy, romantic lounge, complete with glittering disco balls that reflected the joy on every face. Despite the shift in tone, the reception tied back to the ceremony in a way that felt seamless—like two sides of the same coin.

One of the most special parts of the day was how Mariel and Shervin honored both of their cultures. Shervin’s Iranian heritage and Mariel’s American roots were thoughtfully fused throughout the celebration. From the music and food to small symbolic touches woven into the ceremony and reception, their wedding was a heartfelt reflection of unity, tradition, and individuality.

Mariel and Shervin’s day was a stunning reminder that weddings don’t have to fit into just one aesthetic. When personal style and cultural celebration come together with intention, magic happens.
