Enchanted Forest Styled Shoot
Hello again friends!
I am so thrilled to let ya'll know that my first styled shoot is finally in the books. I'm a little late on this post, as it happened almost 3 weeks ago, but hey we're here now.
In case you're just jumping in on my blog, I'll just briefly explain what a styled shoot is: It's a photoshoot (in this case it is set up to mimic a wedding setting) and it allows vendors like me, the photographer, videographer, florist, etc. to showcase their skills. As the coordinator, I was the one to put together the team of vendors that I thought were best for my vision. JW Photography was the first vendor I booked. She did a fantastic job at editing the photos to the moody perfection that I wanted. I also used Flourish films for videography, Revel Gardens as the florist, and Karly K Calligraphy made the invitations. They all came together so perfectly! I was so thrilled that I was basically giddy during the shoot, despite it being 20 degrees outside. Dress Gallery provided the gorgeous wedding dress, and Gentry LTD the suit.
The inspiration for this shoot came from my grandparent's backyard - it is the perfect "Enchanted Forest", and it is also where we held the shoot. I'm sure it was difficult for the other vendors to trust me when I told them we were going to be doing this in a backyard as opposed to at an actual venue, but I am so glad they did! Some of my favorite touches were the book table number, the birdcage at the base of the arbor, and OF COURSE, the moss chair, Louise. I hope you enjoy the photos! Stay tuned for the next styled shoot!
